\n\"Houghton,<\/a>
\nFor the past 10 years, Jay Houghton has been owner and principal broker for Royal Oak Business Brokers which he founded. He developed a robust practice engaged in brokering business opportunities and franchise territories mainly in southeast Michigan. His experience ranges from brokering Main Street fast food franchises to medium sized manufacturing plants to steel suppliers and scrap yards. Jay’s expertise in business brokering will be a welcome addition to Reinhart Commercial.
\nJay is a native Michigander having grown up in Rochester and achieving a B.A. in English from Oakland University and an MBA from Wayne State University. Prior to becoming a business broker he held a number of positions in the auto industry including Account Director with Oracle Software, Manager of Marketing with Audi of America, and was a Senior Vice President with Campbell-Ewald Advertising. He also won a Gold Medal for his book “The Digital Dealer”.
\nJay recently relocated to Ann Arbor from Royal Oak and is active in the local community and teaches a class at the Ann Arbor Rec & Ed on how to buy a business.
